I subscribe with the data only for esim they deduct the money from my visa cars but there is no service i contact there support they told there is an issue with the merchant In the end my money stolen from Klook my recommendation don’t use this application at all i will delete it plus i will inform all my friends and family to not use as we can’t trust them

Poor customer service

I mistakenly purchased a locals-only service and, realizing my error, repurchased the same service at a higher price on Klook just 17 minutes later. I requested a refund for the unused initial service. Unfortunately, Klook's customer service experience was frustrating and time-consuming. Repeated automated responses overlooked specific circumstances, adding unnecessary stress. While Klook may offer slight discounts, these savings are quickly outweighed by the challenges of resolving any issue. Choosing Klook feels akin to opting for inadequate insurance—lower upfront costs but significant hassles and higher costs when you really need its services.

No help provided after you paid

I would suggest you book directly from local agent or other apps that respect customers and help with complaints. And Klook is expensive than Agoda, or other apps and their local providers. Every time I used this app, there’s certain issues, when traveling, everything is not as easy, and Klook take advantage of that and let customers bear all the responsibility. It’s very difficult to get any further information or support from them.

They book experiences, travel and hotels for you that aren’t available then charge you a “fulfillment fee” when you are forced to cancel. It’s odd and definitely a scam

Japan life saver app

Currently in Japan and was able to book most of my experiences through Klook. Even locals recommend it. Even though wont use it much outside of travels this app will live rent free in my phone.

Error every time I try to pay

This has been the absolute worst booking app I’ve ever used. What should take seconds to book takes me 20 - 30 mins, because every time I try to book, the app gives an error about suspicious activity and declines my payment. Once or twice, I could understand. A third time would be irritating, but SIX times?! Literally every booking I’ve made! And I’ve asked the all six agents to fix the underlying problem, they say they do, and then it’s not fixed and I have to start all over again. The worst!

App doesn’t work well

And customer service (Fio N) blames my bank despite my bank saying there is no problem. Everything else books fine - just the Shinkansen tickets. Book those somewhere else. My 1 star review is for the poor customer support and false advertising.

Cool to book with Klook

Klook makes everything so much easier when it comes to creating itineraries for international trips!!

Avoid!

Used this app a couple of times during a trip to Japan. First, the tour to Mt Fuji was terrible. Bus was late, tour guide barely spoke English and we wasted a lot of time going to a pretty bad first stop. Second, bought tickets for the bullet train. I picked oversize luggage seats which were apparently not available so Klook automatically sold me other seats. I could not cancel and rebook without them charging a cancellation fee. Total bait and switch. When I reached out to the CS they were zero help. Avoid.

Besides some resort fees we had to pay at check in Klook got us a grate deal and we had an easy check in! Everything was great!

Horrible customer support, dont book shinkansen

I had the worst experience booking shinkansen, they claimed they booked it but didnt book oversized luggage then told me they would charge a fee for cancellation even though I pointed out the issue immediately. Deceptive, abusive and misleading marketing.

WORST TRAVEL APP ON THE MARKET

I advise against using this app for travel bookings. Although the prices seem reasonable, the app's refund policy is inflexible and doesn't accommodate last-minute travel changes, which can be essential in situations like train delays. I experienced this firsthand when I had to change my plans due to a delayed train. Despite purchasing tickets less than an hour before departure and buying a new ticket at the station due to the delay, my request for a refund was denied. It had been less than an hour since my original purchase, yet the app's policy did not account for such unforeseen circumstances. The customer service was also unhelpful. For more reliability and flexibility, I recommend purchasing tickets directly at the gate.

Beware: No Mistakes

NO CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, or REFUNDS ONCE PURCHASED! When booking anything on this Klook app, make certain everything is correct and that you’ve explored all options before confirming and paying. While great deals and convenient, there are ZERO changes, cancellations, or refunds for anything. Even if you see cancellation or change policies before confirming payments, afterwards you will find out that is not the case with the app. Even the help center will repeat NO CANCELLATION, CHANGES, or REFUNDS.

My ticket disappeared

Bought a skyliner ticket the day before my trip. After I bought it, I see it showed up under the “my trips” tab. All good. Except when I got to the train station next day and ready to use. It’s no longer there. Because I was in a hurry. I had to pay for ticket again.

Never available

The app will hardly work when trying to open it. It always says lost connection. Once the app works, it is great, but lately I cannot open the app.

Worst app ever

Booked an airport transfer. The vendor never contacted me. The Klook customer service is also not helping at all

Awful in Bangkok

Total disaster at arrivals. We folllowed directions and found our name. The Klook represtative was completely drunk. He connected us to wrong driver who had us unload our luggage and walk back to arrivals. After 1 hour our poor original driver found us at the curb. The drunk Klook representative was with us and not able to stand or communicate.

Does not work

Trying to order train tickets in Japan, the instant I book them it says the trip is cancelled and they are working on a refund.

Don't expect anything from klook!

The scalpers who earn the high price difference have no after-sales service at all!

The Universal Studios pass I bought is invalid. I could not get an exchange or refund. The customer service representatives always disconnect you for no reason. Do not use it. It’s a scam app.

Total scam rip off

I made 3 bookings for me and friends. On one I knew I made a mistake. So I contact customer service NO CHANGES NO REFUNDS. So I cancel and rebook. On my transfer I had trouble with the app so I booked carefully for 10am. I checked 2 days before and it was at 8am. At 10:30 I get on chat with customer service and wait ONE HOUR. Then they say it’s my problem and no changes allowed. Contact local operator which I will do. This company will take your money, change your booking then keep your money when you try to fix their mistake.

Racism

Unacceptable and Discriminatory I am appalled and disgusted by the blatant racism displayed by [klook]. Despite providing accurate information, I was denied service solely based on my nationality. This is unacceptable and goes against basic human rights.

waste of money and time

this is the worst booking app ever. their value pass in japan is practically worthless considering that most of the tickets take you out the way, and the 2 day kansai pass isn’t even worth it because most JR stations don’t accept it. you’re not guaranteed “seat selections” and you’re left with risking your trip for tickets that are, again, WORTHLESS. not to mention you can’t sit with the people you came with. you’re better off getting tickets directly from the stations.

Very good app, easy to use and on my language, I bought all the ticket attractions from Japan and Shinkansen trains, all my tickets were stored app and ready to use with no issues.

There is no option available purchase

I am trying to purchase Taipei pass to choose from 36 choices but there is no available button that I can click to move forward with purchase. It says over 10,000 purchases but how and where to go for purchase?

I would look elsewhere

When Klook works it’s decent, you just pay a hefty fee compared to booking directly with the end supplier for the convenience - but sometimes that can be worth it. But when it comes to when things aren’t going well Klook will hold on to refunds even when the main organizer, event or contracted company refund Klook in full they will not refund you, the customer. This leaves you in a weird place where the service company has refunded the “agent” (which Klook fills the role of) but Klook will happily hold onto it, not forward it to you, but give you a 10% Klook cash voucher (which you can up negotiate with support to 30%). Be very careful and assume everything you pay through Klook is lost money even if the refund policy says otherwise.

Awesome App for Tours

I recently used Klook on a trip to HongKong and Macau and this app was a one stop place for booking all the good tours of the place along with ferry and intra city commute bookings . Great work , would definitely recommend to use Klook

Never Again

Booked a private car from Tokyo airport to our hotel. Terrible directions even though I contacted them the day before for instructions to find our car. Followed them and never found our driver. He kept sending us photos of where he was, which was pretty much meaningless. Ended up taking a taxi at the taxi stand, which was super easy and cheaper than the private car we rented. Customer support was terrible. They offered a credit of $2.07 in Klook credits. Terrible service.

Worst service experience

DO NOT USE THIS APP!!! It’s faulty. Tried to book a ticket from Tokyo to Kyoto and the transaction didn’t properly go through, I never received my ticket. Second attempt worked but the company STILL charged me twice, even though the transaction didn’t go through the first time. Customer service was a terrible. Please, please, please go to another platform and don’t use this one. Look at all the other 1 star reviews they have.

Good customer service

I wrote to Klook following a poor experience with one local tour guide / operator of theirs. Klook were excellent. They responded to emails, called me to understand the issue. Within 24 hours they called me back, gave me a credit and explained what they’d done to fix the issue. Note it’s not reasonable to expect that every tour guide in every location will get it right. But what I found is when they don’t Klook were highly responsive and took action. Very impressed with the service. Would use them again.

Poor Experience Don’t buy with insurance it won’t matter

I haves used Klook before and not had any problems. This time, I booked multiple experiences with them and bought insurance , sure enough things came up twice. I immediately requested my refund and here we are at week 3 no resolution. Customer service PROMISED I would hear back in 48hrs. That’s laughable. It’s over 48 and nothing, I REACHED OUT TO THEM AGAIN TODAY. They still have no resolution. Don’t buy the insurance, it’s low key giving SCAM VIBES.

Terrible for time sensitive tickets

Good app for things that won't sell out fast. The app doesn't update at ticket release time, so when you're competing to buy tickets before they sell out, you're out of luck. Wanted to buy tickets for something which releases 30 days in advance, but at the ticket release time, the app wasn't showing the new day available. Tried refreshing for 5 min but the new day never showed up. Went to a diff site and the new day showed up there, but all the time slots we wanted were already sold out. Came back to klook and the new day still wasn't available. Ridiculous janky coding. Use for anything else, just not for time sensitive tickets that usually sell out. Avoid!!!!!! Deleted this app so fast off my phone cause I was so unhappy with the experience.

No Support

All the other services I’ve tried have always helped if I had t change time/date on any tickets. Especially when traveling outside the country, I tried changing my time for a purchase and they refused. We were on course to being on time but of course things happen outside of our control. They refused to change the time stating I could not be refunded, I was never asking for a refund simply to have the time changed so I can still keep the ticket . They refused, again I’ve had other agencies help with this issue before hand and with the same ticket type I was taking.

They took my money just to cancel my booking so now I won’t get my money back for another 7-14 days. If you are trying to buy a lot of tickets klook is not good.

A must have

I found the Klook app to be an invaluable resource for my trip to Japan. It saved me hundreds of dollars while I was traveling there. I found myself using it daily for all things Japan. Tours, transportation and general information. I’m so glad someone recommended Klook to me.

Painful to use

If you are looking for an app that will constantly log you out when you need to show your ticket or pass, then Kloom is for you. I ran out of cuss words and dumped it after my pass expired.

Honeymoon Nightmare

Booked a tour of 3 islands for an all day experience in Surigao Island Philippines. The night before the tour we received an email from the ferry company saying that our 0600 was changed to 1000 and our Klook booking was at 0800 after notifying Klook of the change in arrival time the agency said we would not be able to access our reservation because the island tourism office appointment cannot accommodate late passengers even though it was booked through Klook. I would not recommend this app because the customer service is not understanding enough to either refund or accommodate for a later date after they have been paid for the trip. And this was our Honeymoon
